On 28–29 November 2023 the #edu4sdgs project officially kicked off with its first transnational meeting hosted by International Cooperation Centre of the Lodz University of Technology.
The project aims to strengthen the role of higher education in advancing the SDGs by promoting social responsibility, emotional intelligence, and active civic engagement.
This inspiring initiative brings together a diverse consortium of partners. The group includes Lodz University of Technology (project coordinator) and Team Coaching Rafał Nykiel from Poland, Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities from Germany, Riga Technical University from Latvia, as well as Spanish partners - Welfare and Development Association and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
The two-day meeting brought together 12 committed experts who used this opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and align their vision. Together, they discussed key elements of the project, assigned roles, and laid the foundation for the months ahead with a shared sense of purpose and energy. One of the highlights was an engaging workshop "Working with Emotions", designed to deepen empathy and emotional awareness in the context of the SDGs, perfectly setting the tone for a project rooted in both knowledge and heart.
