Agents of Change

In the #edu4sdgs project, Agents of Change are people who turn awareness into action. They understand sustainability challenges and actively contribute to positive change in their communities. The project promotes the idea that achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) requires not only knowledge, but also empathy, social responsibility, and a willingness to inspire others. By strengthening these qualities, #edu4sdgs helps individuals turn their values into action and make a meaningful contribution to sustainable development.

The videos below were created by participants of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme Emotional Intelligence & SDGs in Action. Through digital storytelling, they share their personal views on sustainability, the challenges they see around them, and the ways in which each of us can contribute to positive change. Their stories show that meaningful change doesn’t always start with something big. Sometimes, it starts with one person, one idea, or one small action.

Meet our Agents of Change and discover their stories. Let their experiences inspire you to turn your own values into action and become an Agent of Change in your community.

✨Every story matters. Every action counts. Together, we can make the SDGs a reality.

Who are Agents of Change?

What happens when students from different countries come together to learn, share ideas, and discover how emotional intelligence can help create a more sustainable future? This video takes us back to the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Emotional Intelligence in SDGs Action, organised at TUL. Students from Poland, Spain, and Latvia came together for workshops, discussions, and collaborative activities exploring the Sustainable Development Goals and the challenges we face in building a more sustainable world. Throughout the programme, students discovered what it means to be an Agent of Change - someone who turns awareness into action, inspires others, and brings the SDGs closer to everyday life and our communities.

How can international learning experiences inspire young people to act for a more sustainable future?

This video takes you to Riga, where almost 50 students from Latvia, Poland, and Spain participated in the Edu4SDGs Summer School. Through workshops, debates, and collaborative activities, they explored the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), discussed social responsibility, and reflected on their role in creating positive change. The programme provided a unique opportunity to exchange perspectives, build international connections, and strengthen young people's commitment to creating a more sustainable future. Along the way, participants broadened their understanding of global challenges and discovered how collaboration across countries can inspire meaningful action.

It's Not About Being Perfect but About Being Conscious

Perfection is not the goal. Every sustainable journey starts with awareness and a decision to do things a little differently. Watch, reflect on your habits, and consider what small step you could take today to contribute to a more sustainable future.

What will your story be?

Zero Hunger - Minimizing Food Waste at Home

Food waste often starts with small everyday choices we barely notice. This humorous story invites us to look at our shopping and cooking habits and consider how they affect people and the planet. A more sustainable future may begin in our own kitchens.

Where could your change begin?

Look for the Spark to Create Sustainable Cities and Communities

Cities may sometimes seem grey and busy, but they are full of opportunities to create positive change. Take a closer look around and see how sustainability is becoming part of everyday life.

Positive change starts in ordinary places and grows when people choose to take action.

Speak Up, Use Emotional Intelligence

Creating a more inclusive world often starts with everyday interactions. Empathy and understanding help us build stronger relationships and challenge stereotypes when we encounter them. Sometimes even a few words of support can make a difference.

When was the last time you used your voice to stand up for someone?

The Gate to the Future Is Open

The future is in our hands. Every day, we make decisions that shape the world around us, from how we travel to how we use energy. They may seem small, but together they can open the door to lasting change.

How can education empower people to create lasting change for a more sustainable future?

This video summarises the journey and achievements of the edu4sdgs project after three years of international collaboration. Bringing together partners, educators, and learners from across Europe, the project explored new ways of teaching and learning about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), integrated emotional intelligence into sustainability education, developed educational resources and online learning opportunities, and created spaces for international cooperation and exchange. The result is a comprehensive educational ecosystem designed to empower individuals to turn knowledge into action and contribute to positive change.
