From 25 to 27 September 2024, the partners of the Erasmus+ #edu4sdgs project came together in vibrant Barcelona for their second transnational meeting.

The gathering was an opportunity to reflect on the achievements so far, refine plans for the next project phases, and strengthen collaboration through hands-on training sessions.

The first day focused on key developments, including the design of micro-credentials tied to the project’s educational pathways. Partners reviewed initial survey results, aligned on the next steps for launching the SDGs University Knowledge Hub, and explored the concept for a summer school in Riga. The group also had the chance to preview the first ideas for an interactive City Game aimed at developing emotional intelligence in connection with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The following two days featured intensive training sessions. The first delved into emotional intelligence (EQ), helping participants enhance their self-awareness, empathy, and interpersonal skills while drawing clear connections between EQ and sustainable development. The second session spotlighted the power of collaboration between universities and NGOs, showcasing inspiring case studies and sparking discussions on how to build strong, purpose-driven partnerships to advance the SDGs.

With new insights and strengthened connections, the consortium left Barcelona ready to move forward with renewed clarity and a shared commitment to the next activities.
